S&D - The official home of Spybot Search and Destroy. This
excellent product is offered free of charge, although they ask that
you make a donation if you like it and use it. Available in a
variety of languages, Spybot S&D can detect and remove many
different types of spyware from your system. Updating of
spyware definitions can be set to "auto update", which is a nice
feature. Also can clean usage tracks, which is a good feature

Hijack This - Lists the contents of your system's registry and
hard drive, tracking the methods that browser hijackers use to force
you to their websites. Hijack this is more of a professional
tool that is useful when trying to identify and get rid of stubborn
spyware and adware that other spyware scanners cannot touch.
It generates a log file that can be used by professionals to find
out where the trouble is so that it can be fixed. This
software is "industrial strength", and not easy to use by folks who
are not extremely knowledgeable about computer software. Many

in eliminating your adware or spyware problem if you send them your
