Bit Defender is a
well known internet security software company, providing state-of-the-art
antivirus, anti spyware, anti adware, anti spam, and personal firewall
products since 2001. As like all of the newer security software
developers, this company is located outside the US. BitDefender
products are developed by Softwin, a company located in Bucharest,
Romania.
Bit Defender security products have been used heavily in Europe for
years, and their excellent reputation has now earned them a growing global
business. BitDefender software is so good that it is now competing
head-to-head with some of the biggest security software companies in the
industry (like McAfee, Symantec, and Computer Associates) - and
winning! Having just won the prestigious #1 Best Buy Award from PC World
for 2006, Bit Defender Antivirus is currently the world's highest-ranked
anti virus product. It includes Bit Defender Antivirus and Bit
Defender Antispyware. BitDefender Internet Security is the company's
